About Hardwood
Many of our products are highly rated on the Janka Hardness Scale. The ratings are achieved through careful sourcing and selection of the best natural materials, as well as our advanced finishing processes and techniques.
If sustainability and price are important to you, we also offer a full range of premium options that are environmentally friendly by nature. Some prefer the look of softer woods which take on aged character beautifully.
If durability is key, be sure to consider not only the Janka ratings of the particular wood species, but also the thickness of the plank. Perhaps the most important difference is proven through our advanced scratch resistant coatings. Much of a floor’s durability depends on its finish.
